Content Budapest will invite up to 500 key buyers and commissioners from channels across CEE free of charge to the three-day event.
C21 has also confirmed it will host a Boat Party on Wednesday June 28, reviving a tradition born of the now-defunct Discop East.

The agenda includes keynotes from Warner Bros. Discovery’s Jamie Cooke, Global Agency’s Izzet Pinto, FILM.UA Group’s Victoria Yarmoshchuk and Paprika Studios’ Ákos Erdős, plus in a series of commissioning sessions featuring buyers, channel bosses and commissioning executives from pan-regional streamers, public service broadcasters, commercial channels and local platforms including; AMC Networks International, A+E Networks UK, BluTV, PRO TV S.R.L., Pro Plus, TVP Polish Television, Czech TV, LTV, LRT, TVP+, Go3, Telekom Srbija and CME Group will discuss their content strategies, coproduction opportunities and new slates.
More immersive sessions will explore the latest content trends including pay TV with executives from Network 4, United Media, M7 Group and Warner Bros. Discovery Poland, and new revenue streams in FAST with Rakuten TV.
Other areas of the agenda will dive into how to find the next format hit with leaders in the format space including executives from 1+1 Media and The Fashion Hero, a FRAPA session will reveal the 10 steps to protect your formats and why this is important if you want to monetise them, and leading drama producers from Drugi Plan, Firefly Productions, Joyrider and Paprika Studios will discuss drama coproduction between CEE and global markets.
Plus, leading industry analysts from Parrot Analytics, Glance – Médiamétrie, Ampere Analysis and K7 Media will dissect the latest data coming out of the region and discuss the implications for the local and wider business over the next 12 months and beyond.
More than 200 buyers have registered for the event which also includes a raft of senior commissioners and channel CEOs and more than 150 participating companies.
The inaugural CEE100 will also launch at Content Budapest, an initiative to celebrate 100 leading executives from channels, platforms and producers who are redefining the content business across Central and Eastern Europe.
